Munitions University

Munitions University (military school) belongs to the Chinese People's Liberation Army (military) General Logistics Department. The establishment and development of the school can be traced back to Viceroy's Hospital Medical School of Qing government of 1904. It has had more than 90 years history. In 1953, the Military Commission higher Veterinary College and the second, third and fourth Veterinary College were combined into the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Veterinary University. Approved by the Central Military Commission in August 1992, the Veterinary University was changed name into “Chinese People's Liberation Army Agriculture Pasturage University”. In April 1999, the Agriculture Travel Pasturage University was changed name into “Munitions University of Chinese People’s Liberation Army”.
